Practice Owner Veterinarians
Alice A. Bradley , DVM Dr. Alice A. Bradley was born and raised in the North Texas area. It was during High School, while she worked at the Animal Hospital of Denison, that she became convinced to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She attended Grayson County Jr. College and Texas Tech University for her undergraduate work and then graduated from Texas A&M in 2000 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Dr. Bradley worked for a veterinary clinic in Terrell, Texas before joining the staff at the Animal Hospital of Denison in October of 2003.
Dr. Bradley lives in Denison with her husband Jim Bob and their son Jay. They also share their home with Gizzy and Gato, two fluffy cats and MoMo the wonder dog. Along with being a veterinarian, Dr. Bradley enjoys spending time with her family and in her spare time she also enjoys reading and cooking.
Billy D Martindale , DVM A born and raised North Texan, Dr. Billy D. Martindale began practicing veterinary medicine here at the Animal Hospital of Denison in 1968, after receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M. He purchased the Animal Hospital from Dr. W.M. Porter in 1975, located next to what is now the Animal Hospital of Denison which Dr. Martindale had constructed in 1980. After practicing for over 40 years, Dr. Martindale is enjoying semi-retirement. He recently sold the practice to his son-in-law, Dr. Chad Cruce, but still remains actively involved in the practice. He is also very involved in organized veterinary medicine at the local, state and national levels. He served as president to the Texas Veterinary Medical Association in 2004 and currently serves as a delegate of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association for the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Martindale and his wife, Linda share their home with two kitties, Albert and Yellow Cat. He and LInda stay very busy spending time with their grown children and a plethora of grandchildren. They are active members of the Park Avenue Church of Christ where Dr. Martindale served as an elder for many years and where he continues to teach bible classes. He is an avid golfer, and enjoys cooking and reading.

Technicians
Michelle L Stone , RVT Michelle has worked for the Animal Hospital of Denison for 13 years and serves the hospital as Head Technician. She was born in Alaska and spent some of her "growing-up years" in Las Vegas. She graduated from Murray State College in Oklahoma with a degree in Applied Veterinary Science and is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She presently lives in the Southern Oklahoma area on several acres of land. Michelle has a big heart for dogs and cats that are homeless. She currently has three dogs and two cats. Taylor Renee is a 12 year old Husky she adopted from the Happy Hearts Pet Shelter in Denison. Hope McKenzie is a 10 year old Labrador Retriever she rescued off the streets and her 8 year old toy poodle, Stoney that belonged to her Dad. She also has two cats, Samuel Joseph and Tamara Lynne that were abandoned as new born kittens at a local diner in Oklahoma. Michelle also loves horses and plans to have more in the near future. She is also an avid reader.
Laura M Weyer Laura has been with the Animal Hospital of Denison since 2004. She came to Denison from Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Wilson College, earning a degree in Veterinary Medical Technology and Equine Management. She worked as a Veterinary Technician and Riding Instructor in Pennsylvania for about seven years before coming to Texas. She loves being a technician and thinks her job is both exciting and rewarding. When she is not working or taking care of numerous dogs, cats and horses at her home, she enjoys riding, playing tennis, reading and learning new things.
Stephanie Strandlien Stephanie has worked for the Animal Hospital of Denison for over ten years. She has worked mostly as a receptionist but recently has been in "technician training". She also has worked at both of our locations, Morton Street Animal Hospital and Animal Hospital of Denison. Stephanie enjoys all areas of work at the hospital.
Stephanie was born and raised in Denison and she and her husband have four children and numerous dogs and cats.
