Dr. Cruce, a Fort Worth native, developed a passion for veterinary medicine early on, starting his journey at the Animal Hospital of Denison in 1990 while still in college. He earned his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University in 1991 and went on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M in 1996. After completing his studies, he returned to the Animal Hospital of Denison as a full-time veterinarian and later became its owner, proudly serving as the hospital’s third owner since its founding in 1941. Dr. Cruce lives in Denison with his wife, Amie, and their five children, along with their beloved pets, Luna and Milo. In their free time, he and his wife enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors.
